Our Heritage

A Legacy of Quality & Service

Busch’s as we now know it started in 1975, when founders Joe Busch and Charlie Mattis acquired two former Vescio Food’s stores in Clinton and Saline, renaming them J&C Family Foods. When Joe retired in 1986, his sons, John, Doug, and Tim, took over the family business, helping to bring Busch’s into the future with a continued tradition of excellence in guest service, community support, and quality goods.
